Mary Stone

Mary serves as the Staff Accountant, assisting the Director of Finance with day-to-day accounting operations of The Spartanburg County Foundation. Mary brings significant experience in accounting, business development and operations to the Foundation

Mary earned her Business and Accounting degree from Rowan University in New Jersey and earned her Master of Administrative Science degree for Public and Not for Profit Organizations from Fairleigh Dickenson University in Teaneck, New Jersey.

Mary has brought more than two decades of experience in nonprofit accounting, budgeting, management, governmental reporting, and operations to the Foundation.

Mary lives in Boiling Springs and enjoys the mild climate and many cultural and historic attractions of her new home in the south.  She is an avid walker and enjoys reading, cooking, and music.
