Kim Atchley manages communications, marketing, special events and outreach. She supports the Philanthropic Services work of the Foundation’s Board of Trustees.
Kim brings more than 20 years’ experience in communications and the Spartanburg County nonprofit community to this key position. Kim is also an award-winning author, freelance writer, and public speaker. In her first professional career, Kim served as a middle school educator in Aiken and Spartanburg Counties.
Kim is a graduate of the University of South Carolina Upstate where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education degree.
Kim and her family live in Pauline, South Carolina. She and her husband have three adult children and share a passion for scouting. She enjoys time with family, traveling, crafting, and kayaking.
