Ball4Good, in partnership with The Spartanburg County Foundation, is hosting the second annual Ball4Good Celebrity Basketball Game April 22, 2018, from 4:00-5:30 pm.
Due to the generosity of the community and all in attendance, we exceeded the fundraising goal of $10,000 for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Spartanburg, Cherokee, and Union Counties!
Adom Appiah, an 8th grader at Spartanburg Day School, started Ball4Good as part of a class project only last year. He has grown this idea into a successful 501(c)3 nonprofit that supports the community through sports.
The Celebrity Basketball Game is one of Ball4Good’s main fundraisers. In 2017, over 800 individuals attended the event, which raised $7,500 for the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Upstate. For more information on Ball4Good, visit www.ball4good.org.
